** What do you mean by domain name & hosting?
A domain name is a unique name that identifies a website. For example, the domain name of Autumn Lane Paperie is “autumnlanepaperie.com.” Each website has a domain name that serves as an address, which is used to access the website.
We’re happy to register your domain name for you as part of your purchase using the “Include Domain Name Registration & Hosting” option or you can purchase your domain name on your own account. If you purchase it here ( http://bit.ly/ALPDomains ) you can get 15% off your registration with coupon code ALP15 – just don’t forget to include domain privacy protection or you’ll be bombarded by spammers because your contact information will be publicly viewable.
Web hosting is basically the space that you buy on a web server to store your website files. When you purchase website hosting you’re essentially renting server space on a specialized computer where your web files will be placed. We provide the option for this using either option other than the “Website Only” option & this includes our Standard level hosting, which provides 1.5GB of disk space on our server. Our other plans are:
Deluxe – 4GB Storage
Heavyweight – 10GB Storage
Let us know if you need a larger plan than our Standard plan & we’ll update your account for you.
** What can I do with an Autumn Lane Premade Website?
Anything you like, within the law. Our websites aren’t limited in their functionality, so the only limit is the vision for the website.
You may run up on storage limits, depending on your activity & your hosting plan. If you’re on our hosting, all that needs to be done is to increase your hosting level – usually this is caused by several very large images being uploaded & not optimized for web use &/or not cleaning out your free email accounts, since free email shares storage space with website files.
** Is this just a website template?
Absolutely not. Our Premade Websites are full service design at a premade price & it is a full website, which is why you also need a domain name & hosting.
We also include several premium plugins as standard issue on all of our websites & can accommodate a few others as well!
** What happens if I run out of storage space?
Just shoot us an email or call us & we’ll help figure out what’s going on & get you set right. Usually this is fixed by upgrading your hosting plan or cleaning out unnecessary emails & website files but sometimes it’s easier to go up a level.
//////// TIP: If you optimize your images for web use offline prior to uploading them to your website, you're much less likely to run up on storage limits based on website files.
** Will you customize my Premade Website as part of my order?
Our Premade Websites are sold as the design is seen, so we can’t customize them as part of the order. If you’d prefer to have a custom website, we encourage you to check out our Total Website Solution, which provides a completely custom website for $75 per month. ** Why can’t the design on Premade Websites be customized?
We’ve put together carefully designed websites that are ready to go & take much less time to complete. As a result, we can offer them at a much lower price but as soon as we start customizing them, that time increases by quite a bit & we want to be fair to all of our clients.
** What if I need help doing things on my website?
Our customer service is legendary at Autumn Lane, we’d love to help you with your website! We do provide our clients with a tutorial file that addresses how to handle multiple, common tasks on their website but if you come across something that you’d like help figuring out as one of our website clients, we’re just a call or email away.
We also offer ongoing Website Support as a service on our website which can be useful for busy, on-the-go website owners, shop owners, etc. Often we can achieve in a minute or two what takes new website owners a week or more to figure out because we do this every day & it’s what we love. If you need Website Support just get in touch with us & we'll help get you set up!
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

We don't provide editable files for legal + professional reasons - we're always happy to help you with your future needs. We're also unable to provide font files to our clients, but we will happily provide you the information you need to license the fonts yourself after finalizing your logo with us!
We go to great lengths to ensure that you're happy with your logo + designs, but we're unable to offer excessive revisions free of charge. If we determine that your requests are outside the scope of the item purchased, we'll provide you with a link for additional payment or find another option that we think will be suitable for both of us.
We understand that life happens -- we humbly request that you communicate with us if you anticipate delays in responding to us regarding your order. We're happy to place the order on hold, if need be.
Orders that have gone 60 days with no communication will be marked as shipped + complete, and may require a fee to reopen.
All designs provided to clients are based on pre-made logo purchases or client questionnaires. It is the client's responsibility to ensure your business name is cleared & that the logo & branding (if applicable) does not bear similarity to the branding of similarly named businesses or related industries.
Pre-made logos are re-sold in our shop, and may not be trademarked or considered one-of-a-kind or unique.
Custom logo & branding orders are based solely on information that a client provides to us, and designs are created from scratch based on that information. No designs provided as reference will be duplicated. Please refer to our website for complete disclaimer & client responsibility statement.
We recommend downloading your finalized files immediately, and backing them up on your own cloud storage or external storage. Although we can & will maintain your files to the best of our ability, in the event of a catastrophic failure with our storage provider, it's always best to recommend that clients have their own copies backed up as well.

Yes, of course! Each printer may have different requirements, so we will need to know where you plan to have your cards printed so that we can provide the final card files as the printer specifies. It is your responsibility to let us know that you plan to have your cards foil printed and to obtain the specifications!
If you choose not to invest in gold foil or metallic texture cards, the gold or other metallic texture in your card will print as an image with no texture or actual shine. While most major professional labs do a good job with the print, we cannot be held responsible for the print job.

No! We don't ship any physical items to you. We provide *all* files via a download link.
Please note that you will still receive a "shipping" notification from Etsy once your order is complete, but don't worry -- you will not receive anything in the mail from us.
We use a project management system called Freedcamp, which can be used from a browser, app, or by sending an e-mail associated with your project. The project management system is free to use, so you will not incur additional cost by participating. It is a requirement to use Freedcamp for custom work, as it ensures that no details are missed and that all designers + developers participating in your project have the same information in front of them at all times.
